Sensational time and fantastic racing at the Hamilton Island regatta – June 2026

What a sensational time we had at the Hamo Island Cup! We partied a little but paddled a lot harder, raced our hearts out, and came home with unforgettable memories—from the moving Opening Ceremony right through to the legendary ’80s farewell party.

What an incredible week it was for our Club. We experienced ocean conditions unlike anything we train in at home, challenged ourselves in every race, learnt valuable lessons, and celebrated plenty of achievements along the way, including competing in and finishing the 42k changes race. Most importantly, we supported each other through every stroke and every challenge. We’re especially proud of our OC2 paddlers, who brought home Silver and Bronze medals—a fantastic achievement against such strong competition.
