‘Come & Try’ session for juniors – 5th Sept 2026
We were very excited to welcome some new juniors to our Club over the weekend for a fantastic ‘Come & Try’ session, supporting our commitment to junior development and the objectives of our successful AOCRA Junior Development grant, which is helping 12 of our juniors attend the upcoming Gubbi Gubbi Regatta.
This was a fantastic opportunity to introduce new juniors to our sport while our existing juniors continued their regatta training. The day also became a wonderful social occasion, with families and children staying for a BBQ – it was wonderful to see our junior paddling community growing both on and off the water.
A huge thank must be given to Rob from our major sponsor Bega Valley Realty (BVR), who joined us to draw our fantastic fundraising raffle.
We were incredibly grateful to the many local businesses who generously donated prizes for this, helping make the raffle such a wonderful success. Congratulations to all our lucky winners.
Rob shared some wonderful words about our Club before making an incredibly generous financial contribution to further support our junior program.
We are so grateful to the Robs and BVR for their incredible generosity and ongoing support of our Club and juniors, which is truly appreciated!
