Our Club was proud to recently host a special event to thank our wonderful sponsors for their incredible generosity and support, which helped us secure a high-quality canoe that will benefit our Club and the wider community for many years to come.
As part of the celebration, we held a blessing and naming ceremony for the canoe to mark the occasion and recognise the significance of this valuable addition to our fleet. Following the ceremony, our sponsors joined us for a paddle before everyone gathered for a relaxed BBQ. It was a great opportunity for members and sponsors to come together, share stories, and celebrate this important milestone.
Thanks to our President Geoff for the beautiful words of the blessing and for the history of our Club, reflecting on how far we have come.
