Our Club once again had the privilege of spending time with the Surf Club juniors attending the annual Wambiri Youth Leadership and Development Camp at Pambula. This brings together young members from numerous Surf Clubs across the Far South Coast to connect, share ideas, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun.
We introduced them to outrigger paddling, including how to ‘surf the ama’ and work together effectively as a team. They were a fantastic group of teenagers who displayed great enthusiasm as they collaborated within their crews and consistently encouraged and supported one another.
It was a fun and memorable morning for everyone involved, and our members thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience with them.
