What a brilliant day!! Fantastic team work during racing and a fun evening of celebrating the end of another great regatta. Newcastle Outrigger Canoe Club hosted another sensational regatta in such glorious weather!! Huge thanks to your Club for all the time & effort you put into making this such a great success. We absolutely loved it!
Great effort by our Club members Rob H, Ellie, Michele, Pete, Geoff, Gill & myself for doing the 8 hour drive to compete here, and huge thanks to Jonesy from Five-Islands & Mark from Pacific Dragons for paddling with us also. Huge thanks also to Jonesy’s wife Shelley for supporting us so well.
We were thrilled to finish the 10k race and the 3 legs of the changes race without huli-ing in the gusty conditions!
